Senior Acoustic Engineer – London

About the role

Our client, one of the UK’s most respected acoustics teams, is seeking a Senior Acoustic Engineer to join their London office. You will lead technically complex projects across sectors such as healthcare, hospitality, music venues and modern workplaces, shaping the acoustic quality of next‑generation buildings.

Key responsibilities

• Develop innovative acoustic design solutions within multi‑disciplinary project teams.
• Lead small to medium‑sized projects from concept through completion, with senior support as required.
• Conduct acoustic surveys and measurements in diverse environments using industry‑leading tools.
• Perform modelling, calculations and analysis with both in‑house and commercial software.
• Liaise directly with clients, consultants and wider project teams.
• Produce clear reports, sketches, presentations and interactive media to communicate design decisions.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of commercial experience in acoustic engineering.
• Proven track record delivering building acoustic projects across design stages.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in acoustic engineering (or related field with an IOA Diploma).
• Strong communication, analytical and organisational abilities.
• Motivation to take on greater responsibility and develop a professional profile.
