Senior Actuarial Consultant – Pension Advisory

About the role

We are partnering with a leading pensions consultancy to hire a Senior Actuarial Consultant for their client‑facing team in London. You will combine technical actuarial expertise with strategic advisory to help scheme trustees manage funding, risk and de‑risking initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Advise pension scheme trustees on funding strategies, risk management and de‑risking approaches.
• Lead and nurture relationships with a portfolio of pension clients.
• Deliver actuarial projects, overseeing technical work and ensuring high‑quality outputs.
• Support business development and growth initiatives within the consultancy.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across a variety of pension schemes.

Required profile

• Qualified actuary with strong pensions consulting experience.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially minded with a collaborative approach.
