Senior AI and Data Engineer

About the role

This is a senior position within a fast‑growing professional services firm that is undergoing a major AI transformation. Working in a hybrid model (two days onsite per week), you will own the end‑to‑end delivery of production‑ready AI products that directly impact business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy AI applications from concept through to production.
• Develop large‑language‑model (LLM) powered tools and agentic workflows to automate internal processes.
• Deliver use cases such as AI‑generated reporting, commercial intelligence and internal knowledge agents.
• Integrate AI solutions into existing platforms and systems.
• Contribute to Azure‑based data engineering, including pipelines and data modelling.
• Prioritise projects across multiple initiatives and collaborate closely with senior business stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience building production AI applications in a cloud environment.
• Hands‑on expertise with LLMs, prompt engineering and agent‑based workflows.
• Proven data‑engineering capability, including ETL processes and handling large datasets.
• Ability to design and deploy scalable, reliable systems.
• Excellent communication skills for working directly with non‑technical stakeholders.
