Senior AI Engineer

About the role

Build the AI systems at the heart of a platform that the world’s leading private‑equity firms use to run their investment processes. You will design, ship, and improve agents that research companies, analyse documents, author outputs and cite every claim, enabling billion‑dollar decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end agent capabilities, from harness internals to evaluation pipelines.
• Design, implement and operate AI agents, tool‑building, retrieval and evaluation components.
• Ship production‑ready AI services that support deal teams across the investment lifecycle.
• Collaborate with a veteran engineering team across the full stack to deliver reliable, high‑impact features.

Required profile

• 5+ years building production backend systems at a venture‑backed startup or top tech firm, owning AI‑powered services end‑to‑end.
• Delivered agents, retrieval systems or LLM features from ideation to production with measurable adoption.
• Deep expertise with Python, LLMs, agents, retrieval/search (OpenSearch), FastAPI, Postgres and RabbitMQ.
• Thrives in fast‑moving, high‑performance environments and enjoys deep domain exploration.
