Senior Analyst – Operational Performance

About the role

As a Senior Analyst you will lead and develop the Operational Performance Analytics team, owning the delivery of reporting and insight across Costa Equity stores.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and own the operational performance reporting framework, delivering accurate, insight‑led reporting across key operational KPIs.
• Provide timely performance insights on productivity, efficiency, customer experience and compliance to enable continuous improvement.
• Develop automated, scalable reporting and analytics using Python, Power BI, SQL and AI, partnering with Data & BI teams.
• Simplify and redesign reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
• Convert operational data into proactive insight, identifying trends, risks and performance drivers.
• Deliver root‑cause analysis, strategic reviews and actionable recommendations that drive measurable improvement.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of Operational Performance Analysts.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of operational performance management, advanced reporting and KPI frameworks in multi‑site retail environments.
• Commercial focus with deep understanding of retail operations and data‑driven decision making.
• Proven experience leading reporting, analytics and business intelligence functions.
• Experience developing and mentoring analytical teams.
• Familiarity with Costa operational standards, labour planning and customer experience measurement is a plus.
