Senior Analyst, Transaction Monitoring and Screening

About the role

Checkout.com is looking for a Senior Analyst to join its Compliance Operations team. You will oversee the performance of analysts, mentor junior staff, and drive process improvements while ensuring high‑quality transaction monitoring and screening work.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary escalation point for complex analyst issues, providing timely resolutions.
• Review and approve escalations and decisions, ensuring adherence to guidelines and company policies.
• Identify and implement process enhancements to increase team efficiency.
• Represent the team during internal and external audits, supplying required documentation and explanations.
• Lead tactical projects from inception to completion, coordinating cross‑functional teams and managing timelines.
• Deliver on special ad‑hoc projects assigned by senior leadership.
• Assist analysts in responding to external Requests for Information (RFIs) from clients, partners, or regulators.

Required profile

• Proven experience in compliance, transaction monitoring, or related financial risk functions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interaction and audit representation.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior analysts.
• Project‑management experience, capable of delivering results on time.
