Senior Architectural Technician – 3‑Month Contract

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Architectural Technician to join our team in Ellesmere Port on a three‑month contract. The role focuses on producing house‑type working drawings and details that meet customer requirements and current building regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare house‑type planning and working drawings, standard details and site‑specific details.
• Ensure drawings are economical, practical and comply with relevant standards.
• Provide technical support to all internal departments.
• Manage and coordinate external consultants to deliver outputs on schedule.
• Verify information for various departments as required.

Required profile

• Clear understanding of current Building Regulations and relevant standards.
• Strong construction knowledge and detailing ability.
• Proven ability to meet timescales and deadlines.
• Experience managing external consultants.
• Methodical problem‑solving approach and high quality standards.

Required skills

• Technical drawing production of detailed plans and specifications.
• Construction detailing.
• Knowledge of Building Regulations.
