Senior Architectural Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Architectural Technician to lead the technical delivery of large‑scale commercial projects in Liverpool. You will work closely with design, structural, MEP and specialist consultants to produce high‑quality BIM models and construction documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, develop and coordinate detailed architectural drawings and technical packages using Autodesk Revit.
• Lead BIM modelling, ensuring compliance with project BIM standards and protocols.
• Coordinate architectural information with structural, MEP and specialist consultants.
• Resolve technical design issues while maintaining design intent, statutory compliance and buildability.
• Review and manage drawing quality, accuracy and consistency across project teams.
• Mentor junior technicians and provide technical guidance.
• Attend design team meetings, client meetings and site visits as required.
• Assist in preparing planning, tender and construction information.
• Support quality‑assurance procedures and best practice implementation.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience as an Architectural Technician/Technologist in a UK practice.
• Proven experience delivering large‑scale high‑rise and multistorey commercial developments.
• Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with high accuracy.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
