About the role
Join a forward‑thinking multidisciplinary consultancy in London, delivering technically complex residential projects across the UK. As a Senior Architectural Technician/Technologist you will lead the technical delivery of Higher Risk Buildings and external wall remediation schemes, working closely with architects, consultants and contractors from planning through construction.
Key responsibilities
- Lead production and coordination of technical drawing packages using Revit and AutoCAD across all RIBA work stages.
- Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, British Standards and Building Safety legislation.
- Coordinate architectural information with consultants, contractors and specialist suppliers.
- Prepare specifications, schedules and documentation for planning, tender and construction phases.
- Attend site visits, design meetings and technical reviews, supporting Building Regulations submissions.
- Maintain BIM standards, document control and drawing revision procedures.
- Identify technical risks, buildability issues and coordination challenges.
- Mentor junior technicians and technologists and contribute to studio improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent in Architectural Technology or related discipline (CIAT accreditation desirable).
- Strong experience delivering residential projects within a UK architectural or multidisciplinary practice.
- Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations, Building Safety legislation and CDM.
- Experience on Higher Risk Buildings and external wall remediation projects is highly desirable.
- Proactive, detail‑oriented with strong organisational and communication skills.
