Senior Architectural Technologist / Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist/Technician to join a busy residential design practice in Southampton. You will lead the technical delivery of residential schemes, producing detailed working drawing packages and ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed residential working drawing packages and construction information.
• Coordinate and review consultant and third‑party technical drawings.
• Ensure projects comply with current UK Building Regulations and technical standards.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and internal project teams.
• Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and attend meetings and site visits as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a similar UK‑based architectural technician role.
• Strong background on UK residential developer housing projects.
• Excellent understanding of current UK Building Regulations.
• Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or a related field.
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential).
• Experience with Revit (beneficial).
