Senior Asia Pacific Travel Designer

About the role

As a Senior Asia Pacific Travel Designer you will join a luxury private travel company that creates bespoke holidays across the Asia Pacific region. You will use your deep knowledge of destinations such as Nepal, Fiji, Japan and Australia to design immersive, responsible travel experiences for high‑net‑worth clients.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with clients via video call, email and telephone to understand their preferences and build strong relationships.
• Design and curate highly personalised itineraries that showcase the culture, nature and adventure of each destination.
• Close sales, manage the sales pipeline and maintain accurate records in the company CRM.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve operational issues and ensure seamless delivery.
• Support the marketing team by providing editorial content and destination insights.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with local suppliers and continuously source new travel products.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in luxury tailor‑made tour operations.
• Extensive personal travel experience in the Asia Pacific region and a genuine passion for sustainable tourism.
• Empathetic, inquisitive and a good listener, able to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
• Open‑minded, solution‑focused and able to stay calm under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to diversity, teamwork and responsible travel practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Familiarity with video‑conferencing tools.

What we offer

• Basic salary of £34,000 plus an industry‑leading commission structure (potential earnings £60,000‑£100,000).
• Guaranteed minimum earnings of £47,000 during the first six months.
