Senior Asset Manager – Commercial Property

About the role

The Senior Asset Manager will join the Property and Investment Team to deliver high‑quality commercial property asset‑management and development support across a varied portfolio. The role is based in Shoreham with office attendance in Worthing on set days and contributes directly to the Council’s Commercial Property Investment Strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality commercial property asset‑management and development support across a diverse portfolio, including seafront leisure, retail, offices, land and limited industrial stock.
• Manage landlord and tenant matters, disposals, estate administration, DCF and other financial analyses, and maintain tenant relations.
• Instruct and liaise with external consultants, prepare committee reports, and interact with councillors and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• RICS qualification (MRICS) and proven commercial property experience.
• Strong analytical ability, capable of producing succinct committee reports and maintaining accurate records.
• Effective time‑management, able to balance strategic objectives with a varied caseload.
