Senior Associate – Cash, Derivatives & Collateral

About the role

BCI is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Investment Operations team in London. The role carries end‑to‑end operational responsibility for the firm’s exchange‑traded and OTC derivatives book, cash liquidity management, collateral funding and securities lending.

Key responsibilities

• Execute trade capture, confirmation, lifecycle management and settlement for derivatives across equity, fixed income, FX and credit.
• Manage daily cash liquidity, FX netting and hedging programmes, and oversee the securities lending portfolio to maximise revenue.
• Prepare and validate regulatory reporting (EMIR, CFTC, Uncleared Margin Rules) and resolve any reporting breaks.
• Calculate and issue variation and initial margin calls, monitor counter‑party exposures and resolve disputes.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in asset management, investment banking or related institution.
• Professional designation such as CFA, CA, CPA, MBA, CAIA or FRM is an asset.
• Strong understanding of global capital markets, securities lending, FX hedge management and regulatory regimes.
