Senior Associate – Investment Banking Technology

About the role

Citi is expanding its Technology Investment Banking franchise and is looking for a Senior Associate to support advisory and capital‑raising transactions for technology clients. Based in London, you will work alongside senior bankers to deliver M&A, strategic advisory and financing solutions for software, AI, fintech and other tech sub‑verticals.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior bankers to develop client relationships and pitch tailored solutions.
• Lead day‑to‑day execution of M&A and strategic advisory assignments.
• Monitor industry trends, company performance and competitive dynamics to generate ideas.
• Prepare and review complex financial models, valuation analyses and marketing materials.
• Conduct economic and market research to support client discussions.
• Mentor analysts, provide feedback and manage information flow.

Required profile

• Prior experience in investment banking, private equity or a related field.
• Strong interest in technology companies and their business models.
• Proven ability to evaluate corporate transactions and structures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑changing environment.
