Senior Associate – Payments Market Expansion & Connectivity

About the role

The EMEA Digital Product Team is seeking a Senior Associate to drive payments market expansion and connectivity for Corporate and Investment Banking. Based in London, you will focus on delivering UAE on‑shore connectivity solutions and establishing a repeatable launch framework for future markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead connectivity discovery for UAE on‑shore and future market expansions, translating blueprints into clear product and delivery requirements.
• Define and refine API and host‑to‑host (H2H) connectivity specifications, including integration patterns, onboarding flows, access, authentication and entitlement considerations.
• Partner with technology, architecture, design and information security teams to shape solution design, prioritize the delivery backlog and drive execution through release.
• Manage delivery tools such as Feature Request and JIRA to track epics, stories, milestones, dependencies and risks.
• Coordinate functional, integration and non‑functional testing, ensuring entry/exit criteria, defect triage and appropriate sign‑offs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product management or delivery within payments, digital channels or connectivity.
• Strong understanding of regulatory, security and control requirements for financial services.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with product, technology, operations and control teams.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills to support governance and alignment.
