Senior Associate Private Client Solicitor (7+ PQE)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a top‑100 UK law firm in Swindon. This senior associate position focuses on high‑net‑worth estate planning, tax advice, wills, probate and trusts, offering the chance to work on complex matters and develop client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of private client matters, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
• Provide expert advice on wills, probate, trusts and tax planning.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, exceeding expectations.
• Support partners with business development initiatives and contribute to departmental growth.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with at least 7 years post‑qualification experience in Private Client law.
• Proven track record handling complex wills, probate and trust matters.
• Strong client management and business development capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and lead within a team.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of private client legislation, including wills, probate, trusts and tax planning.
