Senior Associate – Restructuring & Insolvency

About the role

KR8 Advisory, part of the K3 Advisory Group, is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Restructuring & Insolvency practice in London. You will manage a varied portfolio of high‑impact restructuring and advisory engagements for SMEs, mid‑market corporates, lenders and other stakeholders across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver formal insolvency appointments, including administrations, liquidations (solvent and insolvent), CVAs and accelerated M&A processes.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis and review financial statements to identify assets, liabilities and secured lender positions.
• Provide commercial advice and cash‑flow management solutions to clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with Senior Managers and Directors to develop and implement restructuring strategies.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients, lenders, legal advisers and other key parties.

Required profile

• Proven experience in the restructuring and insolvency market, familiar with administrations, liquidations and CVAs.
• Strong financial analysis capability and commercial acumen.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Ideally holds a professional accountancy qualification (ACA or ACCA) and/or the Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency (CPI).

Required skills

• Formal insolvency appointment experience (administrations, liquidations, CVAs, accelerated M&A).
• Financial statement analysis.
