Senior Associate / Salaried Partner – Private Client Solicitor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join our long‑standing firm as a Senior Associate / Salaried Partner. The role offers strategic leadership of the Private Client team and the chance to uphold a century‑old reputation for excellence and community service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and day‑to‑day management of the Private Client practice.
• Maintain and develop strong client relationships, delivering expert advice on private client matters.
• Handle complex cases involving powers of attorney, deputyships, Court of Protection matters and statutory wills.
• Advise on wills, trusts and estate administration, ensuring full legal compliance.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the firm’s growth strategy.
• Mentor junior solicitors and support staff, fostering a collaborative environment.

Required profile

• Minimum seven years post‑qualification experience in private client law.
• Proven leadership and management experience, including mentoring junior colleagues.
• Strong commitment to client care and community service.
• High level of professionalism, integrity and ethical standards.
• Business acumen with the ability to influence the firm’s strategic direction.

Required skills

• Expertise in powers of attorney and deputyship matters.
• Experience with Court of Protection cases, including statutory wills.
• Proficiency in drafting and managing wills, trusts and estate administration.
