Senior Associate Solicitor – Employment

About the role

HF is seeking a Senior Associate Solicitor with a focus on employment law to join its national employment team. The role is based in Salford with flexible hybrid working, requiring two days per week in the office. You will work across health, social care and third‑sector clients, gaining exposure to both contentious and non‑contentious matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on employment law issues for NHS, health and social care organisations.
• Manage tribunal claims and other contentious employment matters, including day‑to‑day conduct of ET litigation files.
• Supervise and delegate work to junior lawyers, trainees and solicitor apprentices.
• Contribute to business development and marketing activities with support from the Client Services team.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience in employment law.
• Experience advising health, social care or third‑sector organisations; NHS experience advantageous.
• Proven ability to handle tribunal and litigation work.
• Experience supervising junior lawyers and managing workload effectively.
