Senior Audit Associate

About the role

Azets is seeking a Senior Audit Associate to join its growing audit team. You will take ownership of audit engagements, develop client relationships and contribute to the firm’s revenue and profitability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and finalise audit assignments, ensuring sufficient documentation and compliance with audit standards.
• Perform substantive and analytical audit procedures on‑site at client premises.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and highlight high‑risk areas for partners or managers.
• Mentor and coach junior team members throughout the audit process.
• Support the delivery of revenue and profitability targets for your portfolio.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent).
• Working knowledge of IFRS and UKGAAP.
• Experience auditing clients across a variety of industries.
• Proven ability to develop enduring client relationships.
