Senior Audit Manager – Hybrid & Flexible Working

About the role

We are partnering with leading accountancy firms in Guildford and the wider Surrey area to recruit experienced Senior Audit Managers. The role offers hybrid working, strong progression potential and the chance to lead audit teams serving a diverse client portfolio across the UK and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex audit engagements from planning through to completion.
• Manage and develop audit teams, ensuring high‑quality delivery.
• Own client relationships at senior level and act as primary point of contact.
• Oversee audit quality, technical matters and conduct file reviews.
• Monitor portfolios across multiple sectors and contribute to audit strategy.
• Mentor junior staff and support firm growth initiatives.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualification.
• Extensive audit experience within a UK accountancy practice.
• Proven track record of leading audit engagements and managing teams.
• Confidence dealing directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Interest in audit quality, people development and long‑term client relationships.
• Right to work in the UK.
