Senior Audit Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established accountancy practice in Bristol to recruit a Senior Audit Manager. The role offers hybrid working and the chance to lead audit engagements, develop client relationships and mentor a growing team.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and deliver a diverse portfolio of audit engagements from start to finish.
• Own key client relationships, acting as the senior point of contact throughout the year.
• Review audit work to ensure high technical and professional standards.
• Collaborate with Partners on complex assignments and contribute to excellent client service.
• Coach, mentor and delegate effectively across the audit team.
• Identify opportunities to improve audit processes, efficiency and quality.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified with solid external audit experience.
• Proven experience at Manager or Senior Manager level within an audit environment.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and competing priorities.
• Strong communication skills and commercial awareness.
• Ambition to progress towards leadership or partnership.

What we offer

• Indicative salary £65,000‑£75,000 per year, dependent on experience.
