Senior AWS DevOps Engineer – Hybrid (Swindon)

About the role

This senior position is with a well‑established technology business operating at scale. You will take technical ownership of AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for AI‑enabled products, collaborating closely with engineering and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage scalable, secure AWS cloud services.
• Build, optimise and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test and deployment.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Pulumi or Terraform.
• Work with container and messaging services such as ECS, EKS, SQS and MSK.
• Ensure reliability, scalability and security across inter‑region environments.
• Automate monitoring, security and troubleshooting for large database workloads.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in DevOps engineering.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with AWS services.
• Proven track record using Pulumi or Terraform for IaC.
• Extensive experience building CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of ECS, EKS, SQS, MSK and large‑scale database environments.
• Experience with inter‑region cloud architectures.

What we offer

• Day rate of £400‑£450 outside IR35.
