Senior Bid Writer

About the role

Bywaters, a leading environmental services provider, is seeking a Senior Bid Writer to join its Commercial team. You will work closely with the Bid Manager to develop compelling tender responses that showcase the company's innovative sustainability approach.

Key responsibilities

• Write, format and create bid content for a variety of tender opportunities.
• Manage project timelines, diarise key deadlines and produce Gantt charts, Excel and PowerPoint presentations.
• Gather information from colleagues, attend scoping and debrief calls, and support rehearsals and presentation preparation.
• Draft PQQ responses, preparatory documents and design proposal materials.
• Prepare and upload tender alerts, submission documents, checklists and take minutes at kick‑off meetings.

Required profile

• Strong project‑management capability with the ability to guide multiple tenders to completion.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
• Creative mindset for crafting persuasive, client‑focused content.

• Experience creating Gantt charts and other project‑management visuals.
