Senior BIM Technician

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior BIM Technician to join a respected multidisciplinary consultancy in Bristol. You will work on a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, defence, heritage, education and public sector projects, driving BIM excellence from concept to completion.
Key responsibilities
- Lead BIM standards, procedures and best practices across multiple projects.
- Oversee BIM coordination and maintain high‑quality Revit models throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical support for Revit modelling, clash detection and information management.
- Prepare, review and coordinate detailed technical drawing packages.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants and clients to deliver fully coordinated designs.
- Mentor junior team members and guide BIM processes.
- Identify and implement improvements to digital workflows and BIM innovation.
- Ensure project delivery meets programme deadlines, budget constraints and UK industry standards.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Senior BIM Technician, BIM Lead or Senior Architectural Technician.
- Advanced Revit skills and deep understanding of BIM methodologies and standards.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multidisciplinary design teams.
- Solid knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction methods and technical detailing.
- Excellent communication, organisational and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
- Confidence leading technical teams while remaining hands‑on in project delivery.
- Experience across the RIBA Plan of Work, especially technical design and construction stages.
