Senior Brand Designer

About the role

Primer is looking for a senior Brand Designer to shape the visual identity of its global payments platform. Working remotely within a small, high‑calibre design team, you will translate marketing strategy into compelling brand experiences that make a complex, technical category feel sharp, confident and human.

Key responsibilities

• Own Primer’s brand expression across web, campaigns, product marketing, social, events and sales collateral.
• Evolve and extend the visual identity and brand system so it scales with growth.
• Lead creative work for flagship moments, launches, campaigns and events from concept through to delivery.
• Partner with Marketing to turn strategy into work that moves the target audience.
• Set and maintain the craft bar for brand output, ensuring originality and high taste.
• Work fluidly across layout, typography, motion and illustration.
• Maintain coherence between brand and product design across all touchpoints.

Required profile

• Strong portfolio demonstrating brand and visual design across digital and campaign work with clear range and taste.
• Proven ability to own brand projects end‑to‑end without close direction.
• Deep craft expertise in typography, layout and visual systems.
• Experience building or extending a brand system, not just executing within an existing one.
• Background in technical or B2B contexts, showing you can make complex categories compelling.
