Senior Building Surveyor / Associate Director

About the role

Marks Consulting Partners is a fast‑growing independent building surveying consultancy based in London’s West End. They are looking for a Senior Building Surveyor or Associate Director to join a lean, commercially‑focused team and take ownership of client projects from early stages.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver contract administration and project‑led building surveying services.
• Manage office refurbishments and Cat A+ fit‑out projects.
• Carry out dilapidations, acquisition surveys and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) instructions.
• Support landlord and tenant matters, including licences to alter.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, occupiers and asset managers.
• Contribute to the growth of the team and the wider business.

Required profile

• MRICS qualification preferred; strong near‑APC candidates also considered.
• Extensive building surveying experience within a consultancy environment.
• Proven contract administration and project delivery experience.
• Comfortable in a client‑facing role with a commercial mindset.
• Desire for responsibility and exposure typical of a smaller consultancy.
