Senior Building Surveyor – Exeter (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Chartered Senior Building Surveyor to join a respected property consultancy in Exeter. The role offers a hybrid working model and the chance to influence a diverse portfolio of public and private sector projects across the South West.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical due diligence, condition surveys and dilapidations assessments.
• Diagnose defects and prepare detailed specifications, drawings and contract documentation.
• Manage refurbishment, repair and maintenance projects from inception to completion.
• Provide expert advice on building condition, regulatory compliance and asset management.
• Lead stakeholder meetings, present recommendations and ensure quality assurance.

Required profile

• MRICS qualified (or equivalent) Chartered Building Surveyor.
• Proven experience in building surveying consultancy or property services.
• Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and construction legislation.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver refurbishment and maintenance projects.
• Excellent client‑facing and stakeholder management skills.
