Senior Building Surveyor – Leeds

About the role

Kenton Black International is expanding its Leeds office and seeks a Senior Building Surveyor to lead a diverse portfolio of projects across education, healthcare, residential, retail and industrial sectors. Key responsibilities

• Conduct building surveys, inspections, condition assessments and produce technical reports.
• Prepare specifications, design information and contract documentation.
• Lead contract administration and monitor construction progress.
• Support projects from feasibility studies through to completion.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and represent the consultancy professionally.
• Share knowledge with the team and mentor junior colleagues.
• Collaborate with internal departments to drive business growth.

Required profile

• Degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
• MRICS qualification preferred or actively pursuing chartership.
• Strong technical understanding of building pathology and construction processes.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in client‑facing environments.
• Proactive, organised and collaborative working style.
