Senior Building Surveyor – Leeds

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Building Surveyor to join our expanding Leeds team. You will lead large‑scale, project‑focused assignments across education, healthcare, commercial, industrial and public‑sector properties, shaping the future of our surveying service throughout Yorkshire.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects from early advice through to completion, acting as the main client contact.
• Administer contracts and coordinate multi‑disciplinary design teams.
• Maintain and grow established client relationships, generating repeat business.
• Provide technical building‑surveying advice across a variety of sectors.
• Conduct technical reviews and ensure high delivery standards.
• Produce clear reports, recommendations and project documentation.
• Mentor and support junior surveyors.
• Contribute to business development across Yorkshire.

Required profile

• MRICS qualification or working towards chartership.
• Proven building‑surveying experience within a consultancy.
• Strong track record of delivering public‑sector or commercial projects.
• Ability to manage projects and workloads independently.
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
• Interest in business development and growing client relationships.
