Senior Business Advisory – Glasgow City Centre

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Advisory professional to join a busy advisory team in Glasgow City Centre. You will work closely with owner‑managed businesses, partnerships and sole traders, delivering high‑quality accounting and compliance services while supporting junior colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for a varied client portfolio.
• Produce corporation tax computations for review.
• Compile management accounts to aid business performance.
• Complete VAT returns and assist with bookkeeping assignments.
• Liaise with clients to gather information, resolve queries and ensure statutory deadlines are met.
• Support and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA, ICAS or AAT qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
• Previous experience within an accountancy practice.
• Strong understanding of accounts preparation and business compliance.
• Excellent organisational abilities and capacity to manage competing priorities.
• Client‑focused communication skills and confidence to work independently.
• Proactive attitude with meticulous attention to detail.
