Senior Business Development Manager – 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract

About the role

This 12‑month fixed‑term position is with a leading international professional services firm, supporting its global disputes and contentious regulatory practice. The Senior Business Development Manager will drive strategic business development and marketing initiatives across an international network, working closely with senior stakeholders, partners and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to grow the practice’s client base.
• Lead client development activities, including pitching, proposal preparation and relationship management.
• Design and deliver thought‑leadership campaigns, events and profile‑raising initiatives.
• Collaborate with partners and senior stakeholders to align BD efforts with firm objectives.
• Manage and develop a small BD team, ensuring high standards of delivery and collaboration.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development within a professional services environment.
• Strong track record of delivering marketing campaigns, client targeting and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication, organisational and people‑management abilities.
• Commercially minded, proactive and able to work autonomously.
