About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join a leading international professional services firm on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role supports a global disputes and contentious regulatory practice, driving strategic business development and marketing initiatives across an international network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic BD and marketing plans aligned with practice goals.
• Identify and target high‑value clients, lead pitching activities and manage proposal processes.
• Design and deliver thought‑leadership campaigns, events and profile‑raising initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior partners, cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Manage and develop a small BD team, ensuring high standards of delivery.

• Proven track record in business development within a professional services environment.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to build long‑term client relationships.
• Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
