Senior Business Development Manager – International Courier

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth for a leading international courier. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will expand our presence across London and surrounding areas, combining office‑based planning with regular face‑to‑face customer visits.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify new business opportunities, markets and partnerships.
• Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
• Meet customers in person or via Teams and understand their needs.
• Lead bid writing and contract negotiations where appropriate.
• Collaborate with operations, finance and other departments to onboard new clients.
• Attend seminars, conferences and trade shows to build network and brand profile.
• Plan sales campaigns, maintain a robust pipeline and negotiate pricing.
• Support the overall sales and marketing strategy and monitor competitor activity.

• Strong commercial awareness with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
