Senior Business Development Manager

About the role

First Response Group is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive new‑business growth across the construction and infrastructure sectors in the North of England. Reporting to the Head of Construction & Infrastructure, you will own the end‑to‑end process of identifying prospects, building relationships from scratch and securing contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and target organisations in construction, rail, utilities, energy and major projects.
• Create, qualify and manage opportunities through to successful contract award.
• Collaborate with internal sales, bid and operational teams to develop winning solutions.
• Maintain a strong pipeline and deliver an excellent client journey from first contact to contract signing.
• Represent FRG’s security, risk management and facilities solutions to prospective clients.

Required profile

• Commercially driven, proactive and ambitious senior‑level professional.
• Proven track record in pure new‑business development, not account management.
• Self‑sufficient, credible, resilient and motivated by winning.
• Experience within construction, infrastructure or related security and facilities sectors is preferred.
