Senior Business Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a commercially‑driven Senior Business Development Manager to lead the acquisition of new enterprise opportunities and deepen relationships with existing customers across the UK. You will operate in a consultative sales environment, engaging senior stakeholders and guiding complex, service‑led deals from initial contact to contract award.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and secure new business opportunities within large corporate organisations.
• Develop and execute targeted sales plans to drive sustainable revenue growth.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline through proactive market engagement and strategic prospecting.
• Lead opportunities through the full sales lifecycle, from discovery to negotiation and close.
• Manage a portfolio of strategically important accounts and create account development plans.
• Collaborate with technical, solution and delivery teams to design customer‑focused proposals.
• Provide accurate pipeline management, forecasting and reporting.
• Support handover and onboarding of new business and contribute to strategic bids and growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise‑level business development or sales, preferably within technology services.
• Strong ability to build trusted relationships with senior decision‑makers.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of closing complex deals.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and comfortable working autonomously.
