Senior Business Development Manager

About the role

Content Guru is a leading global provider of enterprise cloud Customer Experience (CX) and contact centre solutions. We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join our head office in Bracknell, Berkshire. The role focuses on securing complex, high‑value new business opportunities and driving revenue growth across assigned markets, sectors, or regions.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve revenue and margin targets from new customers on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Develop and execute sales strategies, account‑specific plans and accurate forecasts within assigned regions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with decision‑makers and key stakeholders, preparing tailored proposals and presentations.
• Lead virtual bid teams, coordinate with presales, delivery and support to deliver high‑quality tenders and proposals.
• Maintain deep product knowledge of Content Guru’s storm® platform and monitor market trends and competitor activity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of experience managing or closing major SaaS/technology accounts.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong interpersonal, influencing, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Commercially aware with the ability to develop accurate cost models and achieve margin targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Experience using sales management tools.
