Senior Buyer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to lead the full procurement lifecycle for a dynamic client in Central London. You will own the end‑to‑end process from initial RFQ through to delivery, managing global supplier relationships and driving cost efficiencies.

Key responsibilities

• Take full accountability for the critical path, ensuring project timelines and milestones are met.
• Launch, manage and analyse complex RFQ processes to secure competitive pricing and commercial terms.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard high‑performing global suppliers while strengthening existing vendor relationships.
• Lead high‑value negotiations on pricing, payment terms and lead times to maximise profitability.
• Collaborate with internal teams and logistics partners to guarantee timely delivery of materials to sites and warehouses.
• Use market intelligence to anticipate industry shifts, mitigate supply‑chain risks and uncover strategic buying opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Buyer or Senior Buyer in a fast‑paced global supply‑chain environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage critical paths and resolve supply‑chain bottlenecks.
• Strong background in executing the full RFQ process and supplier selection.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
