Senior C# / .NET Developer – Risk & Securities Lending

About the role

Are you a seasoned C# engineer with a deep understanding of financial markets? We are seeking an experienced Senior C# / .NET Developer to join a high‑performing technology team supporting critical Risk Management and Securities Lending platforms. This 6‑month hybrid contract involves designing, building, and supporting high‑performance systems for complex risk calculations and trading/financing workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high‑performance C#/.NET applications supporting Risk and Securities Lending workflows.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs to integrate upstream and downstream financial systems.
• Handle large datasets and high‑throughput processing for exposure calculations, limits, and reporting.
• Write scalable, testable, and maintainable object‑oriented code, participate in architectural discussions and code reviews.
• Collaborate with Risk, Front Office, Operations, Compliance, and Product Owners to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Provide production support, including incident analysis and remediation for live systems.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience with C# and .NET (including .NET Core).
• Strong object‑oriented programming and architectural design skills.
• Proven track record designing and implementing REST/JSON APIs.
• Solid experience with SQL databases, preferably SQL Server.
• Understanding of application performance, scalability, unit/integration testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Background in Financial Services technology with domain knowledge in Risk Management, Securities Lending, Prime Brokerage, or Collateral/Margin/Financing platforms.
