Senior Care Assistant (Bank) – Flexible Care Home Role

About the role

This is a casual, part‑time bank position in a Barchester care home, offering flexible working to support residents’ needs. You will deliver person‑centred care, supervise a team of Care Assistants and collaborate with the Deputy General Manager and clinical staff.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and inspire a team of dedicated Care Assistants.
• Support the clinical team with medication administration, resident assessments, care plan development and care reviews.
• Ensure the dignity, preferences and wellbeing of each resident.
• Assist the Deputy General Manager in day‑to‑day operations of the care home.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
• Specific knowledge of clinical care for elderly residents.
• Warm‑hearted, compassionate and committed to individualized resident support.
