Senior Care Assistant

About the role

Join Agincare as a Senior Care Assistant and provide compassionate, person‑centred support to clients in their own homes across Andover and the South East. You will help individuals maintain independence, dignity and comfort while delivering high‑quality personal care.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, dressing and toileting.
• Support daily living tasks such as meal preparation, medication reminders and light housekeeping.
• Provide emotional reassurance, companionship and encouragement.
• Travel to client homes using your own vehicle and record care activities accurately.
• Work flexible hours, including alternate weekends, to meet client needs.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK with at least 12 months remaining on your visa (no sponsorship offered).
• Kindness, empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
• Willingness to undertake fully funded training up to QCF Level 5.
