Senior Care Assistant

About the role
Join Avery Healthcare’s award‑winning team at Aire View Care Home in Leeds as a Senior Care Assistant. You will work alongside a dedicated care team to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care for our residents, ensuring a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor each resident’s wellbeing, recognise changes and update care plans accordingly.
- Participate in person‑centred care planning, implement actions, and conduct monthly evaluations.
- Support residents with medication administration and ensure compliance with protocols.
- Provide supervision to junior staff, support their development and promote best practice.
- Act as a primary contact for residents, families, visitors and health‑social care professionals, handling requests, concerns and complaints.
Required profile
- Live the values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful and accountable.
- Hold an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in care for care homes.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar residential care setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive, flexible attitude with the ability to cover a range of responsibilities.
