Senior Care Assistant / Team Leader (Luxury Retirement Home)

About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Senior Care Assistant / Team Leader to support the day‑to‑day running of a luxury residential care home. You will ensure residents receive high‑quality, person‑centred care while leading and mentoring the care team.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and support the care team throughout each shift.
- Deliver high‑quality, person‑centred residential care.
- Assist with personal care and promote resident independence.
- Support medication administration where required.
- Monitor residents' wellbeing and report any changes.
- Complete accurate care documentation and handovers.
- Mentor and support junior members of the care team.
- Promote a safe, caring, and positive environment for residents, relatives, and colleagues.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant, Team Leader, or similar role in a residential care setting.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
- Experience supporting older people with a range of residential care needs.
- Medication administration experience (desirable).
