Senior Catastrophe Analyst – Non‑Natural Catastrophe

About the role

This senior position sits within a leading London market insurer’s specialist non‑natural catastrophe team. You will own the development, reporting and governance of exposure for cyber, liability, political violence and terrorism portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Lead analyst for exposure reporting across major non‑natural catastrophe classes.
• Produce and analyse monthly class reports, supporting internal and regulatory submissions.
• Maintain data governance best practices and ensure data completeness.
• Collaborate with underwriters to present insights and respond to ad‑hoc information requests.
• Support outward reinsurance submissions and contribute to framework improvements.
• Assist with model reviews, tool development and event‑response projects.

Required profile

• Minimum five years’ experience in insurance or Lloyd’s market.
• Strong understanding of exposure management and catastrophe modelling.
• Experience with non‑natural catastrophe classes is beneficial.
• Ability to explain complex concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Excellent analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
