Senior Catia Design Engineer – Contract (IR35)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Catia Design Engineer to join our team on a 12‑month Inside IR35 contract. The role will support aircraft wing structure design using Catia V5 and related tools, working hybrid with three days on‑site in Filton, Bristol.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain parametric CAD models of wing structural components.
• Generate and update 2‑D detail drawings for parts and installations.
• Interpret stress sizing data and project requirements to produce compliant designs.
• Manage interfaces between wing structures and system components.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using Microsoft Office tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Catia V5 (and preferably Catia V6/3DX) in an aerospace environment.
• Background in wing structure or aerostructures design.
• Ability to work on a contract basis under IR35 regulations.
• Strong understanding of modelling methodologies and processes.
