About the role
We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer with strong Catia V5 expertise to join our aerospace team on a 12‑month Inside IR35 contract. The role is hybrid, requiring three days on‑site in Filton, Bristol, and focuses on wing structure design for new aircraft projects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain parametric wing structure models using Catia V5.
- Generate detailed 2D drawings for parts and installations.
- Interpret stress sizing data and project requirements to produce accurate CAD solutions.
- Manage interfaces between wing structural components and system assemblies.
- Collaborate with project teams using Microsoft Office tools.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a senior design engineer in aerospace or aerostructures.
- Hands‑on experience with Catia V5 and preferably Catia V6/3DX.
- Familiarity with RnT projects and wing structure design.
- Ability to work within an IR35‑compliant contract framework.
