Senior Chartered Building Surveyor

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor to join a fast‑growing consultancy in Blackfriars. The role offers real autonomy, direct client exposure and a clear progression path to Associate within a collaborative six‑person team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage contract administration on live schemes from instruction to completion.
• Deliver surveys and technical reports for commercial and high‑end residential projects.
• Handle professional instructions such as dilapidations, defects, party wall matters, due diligence, RCAs and planned maintenance.
• Lead client interactions on‑site and in meetings, owning relationships and outcomes.
• Contribute to business development and marketing activities.
• Help shape the practice’s growth and service offering.

Required profile

• MRICS qualified with 6–9+ years of consultancy experience.
• Strong experience across both project delivery and professional services.
• Client‑facing, highly organised and comfortable juggling multiple workstreams.
• Positive personality that fits a close, collaborative team.
