Senior Civil Engineer – Infrastructure Projects

About the role
We are partnering with a well‑established engineering consultancy in South East England to expand its Development Infrastructure team. The Senior Civil Engineer will take ownership of residential development infrastructure projects, work closely with clients and mentor junior engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of residential development schemes, including highways and drainage works.
- Manage project timelines, budgets and client communications.
- Develop and support junior engineers, providing technical guidance.
- Prepare and negotiate S104, S38 and S278 agreements.
Required profile
- Proven experience in UK infrastructure design, particularly residential developments.
- Strong knowledge of highways and drainage design standards.
- Familiarity with SuDS, Manual for Streets and DMRB guidelines.
Required skills
- Civil 3D or equivalent design software.
- Site3D or similar 3‑D modelling tools.
- MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage or Flow drainage packages.
- SuDS design methodology.
