Senior Client Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Client Development Manager to join the Commercial Team at MBL Solutions in Liverpool. The role sits at the centre of relationships with leading UK retailers, driving growth for both the client and the business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute plans to achieve and exceed annual sales budgets.
• Manage a portfolio of high‑profile retail clients, ensuring retention, margin and satisfaction.
• Identify and deliver cross‑sell and up‑sell opportunities, introducing new products and solutions.
• Use reporting and analytics to inform client sales activity and support forecasting.
• Collaborate with managers to set, monitor and report KPIs such as growth, retention rates and NPS.
• Handle inbound new‑business leads and maximise conversion rates.
• Promote the business as an expert in the gift‑card industry, supporting clients to attract and retain customers and employees.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior client‑facing or commercial roles within retail or related sectors.
• Strong drive, energy and passion for building client partnerships.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑management skills.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel between Liverpool and Newcastle offices and client sites.
