Senior Climate Transition & Risk Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Climate Transition & Risk Consultant who thrives on solving complex sustainability challenges and combines technical expertise with commercial insight to deliver meaningful climate impact for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Support the strategy, growth and delivery of Carbon and Strategy Services, including climate risk analysis, transition planning, Scope 1‑3 carbon footprints and net‑zero pathways.
• Lead project delivery and overall management of core climate and carbon services such as climate risk, transition planning and carbon footprinting.
• Identify prospective client leads, design and sell projects with the Impact Development team, and build lasting client relationships.
• Deliver high‑quality services within budget, ensuring long‑term impact and aligning solutions with client objectives.
• Drive process improvement and optimisation across Carbon and Strategy Services and represent Seismic at industry events.

Required profile

• Proven track record of contributing to growth and securing new business in a sustainability consulting environment.
• Strong analytical mindset, confident processing and transforming data, and detail‑oriented while making pragmatic decisions.
• Extensive experience leading Scope 1‑3, net‑zero and climate‑risk projects with solid knowledge of GHG Protocol and SBT methodology.
• Excellent consulting skills, including client relationship building, project management, report writing and clear communication.
